First Appointment
1. The dentist will drill the crown of the tooth to open the inner tooth and remove the infected area.
2. The root canal is then cleansed thoroughly and applied with medication.
Second Appointment
1. The dentist may remove the temporary filling, clean the teeth, and seal with the crown. In some cases, several appointments are necessary to perform the cleaning process several times until the inflammation gets resolve.
