PRINC partners with TDH to expand integrated dental center in hospital for the first time

Bangkok – Today (1 Feb 66), the signing ceremony of the cooperation between Principal Capital Public Company Limited (PRINC) and Thonglor Dental Hospital Company Limited (TDH) to jointly establish a dental department under the PRINC and TDH cooperation within Prince Suvarnabhumi Hospital (Bangna Km.7), which is expected to open for operation within the second quarter of 2023.

Mr. Thani Maneenut, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Principal Capital Public Company Limited (PRINC), a private hospital and healthcare business operator under the name of the hospital ‘Principal Healthcare Group’, said that the dental department under the PRINC and TDH cooperation is scheduled to be located on the 2nd floor of Prince Suvarnabhumi Hospital (Bangna Km.7). With the readiness in terms of personnel, location, medicines and medical supplies, etc., this cooperation between PRINC and TDH creates mutual benefits in expanding from the existing hospital user base and expanding the new and foreign service users to receive comprehensive quality dental services.

“Currently, the dental service market in Thailand accounts for only 10% of the market value of over 6 billion baht, growing no less than 10% per year and tends to grow continuously, especially in the provinces. Meanwhile, the cooperation to open a dental department within the Principal Healthcare Group is an important starting point according to the company’s strategy to expand specialized medical services to hospitals in the group. It is currently studying the expansion of the dental department under the cooperation between PRINC and TDH to other hospitals in the group within the next 3 years to enhance the potential to provide comprehensive dental services and support foreigners who want to receive dental treatment services in Thailand,” said Mr. Thani.

Dr. Ruangyot Onsaard, President and CEO of Thonglor Dental Hospital Co., Ltd. and founder of TDH Dental, said about this collaboration that TDH Dental has specialized dentists with experience in all dental fields. This collaboration to establish a dental department will increase the potential for comprehensive dental treatment and cover all dental treatments, including opportunities to support both Thai and foreign patients with health insurance from leading companies, covering dental surgery in case of emergency, chronic diseases or high-risk conditions, and aiming to develop it into a comprehensive dental center. In addition, there is a goal to expand cooperation to develop dental centers to have equal standards in all branches of the Principal Healthcare Group.
