Daily Care

  1. Gentle brushing; light warm saltwater rinse after 24 hours.
  2. Warm compress on days 4–5.
  3. Take medications fully as prescribed.
  4. Soft-food diet.
  5. Avoid exercise, smoking, alcohol for 1 week.
  6. Suture removal in 7–10 days.

Warning Signs

  • Excessive bleeding
  • Severe pain
  • Signs of infection
  • Fever
  • Numbness of lips or tongue
