Daily care and maintenance of your Vivera Retainers:
- To clean Vivera retainers, use a brush together with cleaning mousse to remove biofilm that causes white plaque buildup on the device and leads to unpleasant odors. Pump the cleaning foam on the retainer, both on the outside and inside, and let it soaks for about 2 minutes, then use a brush to clean it.
- Do not use toothpaste or denture cleaners to clean the retainer.
- Do not soak the retainer in mouthwash, as these products can damage the surface of the retainer and make it not clear. If you wish to use cleaning tablets, it is recommended to use it after brushing off any biofilm attached on the retainer’s surface for maximum effectiveness in eliminating bacteria.
- If wearing time of your Vivera retainers is only in the night hours. It is recommended to soak the retainers in room temperature water after clean.
